Coming Soon to Independence Bank Customers…An All New Online Banking Service Offering Even More Security…
Plus Greater Flexibility for Bill Pay Users!
Over the years technology has become the forefront of many businesses, and banking has been no exception. Because of the constant enhancements to internet banking products and our desire to provide our customers with current technologies and features to enhance the customer banking experience, Independence Bank initiated a search for an internet banking solution to meet these needs. We are excited to announce that we have found such a solution! On January 20, 2009, Independence Bank will introduce our new Internet Banking solution software as well as introduction of CheckFree as our new Bill Payment vendor of choice. While this transition will involve the participation of our internet banking customers, our goal is to ensure as seamless a transition as possible. During the next few weeks, additional correspondence will be sent to our customers outlining the transition process.
Here are the new features – We think you’re going to love them!
v Real time online transaction processing
v State of the art security measures when you log in
v New Bill Pay service – your account will be debited when your online bill payment check clears your account – not when you issue the check
v Current support updates for Quicken and Quick Books exports
v View images of your checks directly online
To prepare for these updates and to ensure a smooth transition, we will need you to confirm your e-mail address and telephone number in your online banking account.
Note: In December 2008, your new temporary password will be provided to you by either the e-mail or phone number that you provide, so it is essential we have your correct information.
The first time you log in to your internet banking on or after January 20, 2009, here’s all we need for you to do:
1) As prompted at your log in, enter your current e-mail address
2) Once in your account, go to the “Other Services” tab at the top of the screen:
3) At the “Change of Address” option submit correct telephone number
